Master Pushups without Pain

Has anyone ever made you feel like modifying a movement meant you were doing it wrong?

Let's take the pushup, everyone's favorite exercise to have a complicated relationship with.

Somewhere along the way we all picked up the idea that modifications mean weakness and “perfect form” means one specific shape.

But what if that was never actually true?

If the goal of a pushup is to load your chest and build upper body strength, what if the version that works best for your body looks nothing like what you have been taught?

IMAGINE THIS:

Your knees are down on the ground, not as a shortcut but as a setup.

Your feet are anchored firmly to the wall, heels dragging up until your pelvis feels grounded and strong beneath you.

You take a long exhale before the movement even begins, lower ribs drawing down and back, bra line lifting toward the ceiling.

Your whole body is connected, your core is engaged and you have not even done the pushup yet.

Sounds different. Feels completely different. Works incredibly well.

I taught a class inside the Loa Movement platform recently with this exact cuing, and the member feedback stopped me in my tracks! 👇🏼

Women saying they finally felt their chest working for the first time.

That they could do a pushup without wrist pain or neck tension.

That something they had avoided for years suddenly felt not just doable but good!

That is the heart of Intuitive Fitness™.

Let exercise serve you, not the other way around.

If you want to see the full demo and meet some of the women who had their own pushup revelation, pop over and → (WATCH IT HERE)

If you are nodding along right now, good!

That means you are exactly who Loa was built for.

I do a deep dive inside of our 4-Week Fundamentals Program: Core Connect.

Can’t wait for you to experience your own pushup revelation!!

To pushups on your own terms,

-Lauren
